After more than a year of court battle, Britney’s father, Mr. Pears, stepped down as conservator of the singer-actress. The conservatorship ended after more than thirteen years when Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny issued the order terminating Mr. Spears’ conservatorship.
Mr. Spears has been managing Britney’s finances, which include a $60 million estate since 2008 when Britney was under public mental health crisis. This was the year when Britney’s “Oops, I Did It Again” became a hit.
